In April, 2009, there was an outbreak of Hepatitis A in our city. Almost everyday, the local radio listeners were bombarded of the news on how many people got contaminated and the extent of epidemic . Unfortunately, I was one of those who had the disease, along with seven (7) more who also seemed to have contracted it inside our workplace. What is Hepatitis A and its dangers? What are the symptoms? How do we get it?

Having the hepatitis C virus, which is generally taken to be an incurable disease, is already a very difficult fact to handle. More so with the stigma that comes with this illness.
